London is  the capital of England and the UK.)

The Romans arrived in England about about 2,000 years ago. They called London 'Londinium'.

They built a bridge over the Thames, and there has been a 'London Bridge' in the same area ever since.

The Romans ruled in Britain until AD 410, when thy left Britain and London.

London has a population of about 10 million people.

London attracts very large numbers of visitors and tourists.

The most popular attractions are:
